Serving meal before benefit concert Hi everyone, welcome to In His Service Ministries. We are from Cornerstone Baptist Church located in Winchester, Illinois. We have been busy these last few months with mission fundraisers. Several of us will be involved in various mission trips over the summer. At the end of June, five women will be traveling to Uganda with the Libraries of Love Organization. Others will be joining World Changers in West Memphis, Arkansas, and Hannibal, MO. We have been very blessed through the fundraisers we have held. It has been an awesome experience to see how God has been working not only in our church but also throughout our community.
Thanks to everyone who made the yard sale a huge success. The donations were overwhelming and once again God showed his faithfulness.
We also had a huge response to our trivia night, that was held in April. Fun was had by all but of course there can only be one winner. Through the sales of Krispy Kreme Donuts many enjoyed a special treat on a otherwise ordinary Saturday morning. We would also like to thank the United Methodist Church of Winchester for the use of their fellowship hall for the serving of our Italian Dinner. Food and fellowship were enjoyed by all.
Everyone has been working hard toward raising funds for our mission trips, but our work is not finished yet. We still have two upcoming fundraisers to do and many plans to be made, but we know that God has been faithful thus far and that He will continue to be.
